The rivalry between DEMO and TechCrunch appears to be heating up. Which is great for new startups. Right now, with the lack of venture capital in the system, conferences like this are really needed. DEMO is offering a prize to the winning startup of $2 Million dollars in advertising. Now TechCrunch has come out and stated that they would double this prize, and even if DEMO increases the value of the prize that they are offering, TechCrunch will go double whatever they offer. This is absolutely great news to the startups going to the conferences. I personally like the TechCrunch conference, as it doesn’t force the startup to pay to enter, where DEMO does. So, I would think more great ideas for company startups are going to be present at the TechCrunch event over the DEMO event. Either way, if you have an idea, and a plan.. Sounds like you need to look into these conferences and get ready. Now is the time to strike!
